Woodcraft Woodshop Ambrosia Maple, 3/4" x 4" x 48"

I read the negative reviews and I took a chance and ordered despite that. The piece of wood I received was absolutely beautiful straight, true with streaks of colors throughout the entire board. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Save your money, I read the reviews and decided to take a chance ordered 1 board, it was just a plain maple board except for 1 tiny spot about the size of a quarter at the very end of the board. I was disappointed but thought ok ill try it one more time as my customer really wanted the ambrosia maple so I ordered 2 more, I even sent them an email asking for something at least close to what was pictured they sent back a response saying "wood is a product of nature and they cant guarantee what the grain will look like." Ok, but when the picture shows that kind of grain and the description says ambrosia thats kind of what you expect to get. So what I have is 3 plain maple boards can you say misrepresentation.

Project came out gorgeous with the markings on these pieces of wood. Shipping fees were reasonable. I would order again.

Usually Woodcraft had sent high quality wood products but I would steer clear of the ambrosia maple. Not very good figure in the piece I received. Disappointed… I will make it work but still disappointed. Maybe they should add more pictures of the range of figure you will receive with pictures of the raw wood instead of the one really figured maple they show.

I left review when I bought my first board and complained about the board not having enough grain, they rectified the review with sending me another board with more grain and I’m very pleased.Thank You

What a disappointment, almost no color or figure in this wood. Total rip off!

Overall it’s a good sized board that I can work with. I was just bummed that the board I got had zero streaks and just looked like a plain old board of maple. I’ll still make projects with it but it bummed me out. I get that not all Lumber is perfect and you get what you get. Don’t let this stop you from buying it.
