K&H Window Pod
We live on the 11th story of a highrise, and our younger cat loves to look out the windows. When we mounted an inexpensive shelf-type perch on the living room window, it quickly became Azazel's favorite daytime hangout spot (when not following us around). We ordered the K&H Window Pod for Azazel's first birthday, with plans to mount in the bedroom within climbing distance from the cat condo. My first impression upon unboxing was of high-quality construction; this is something that should last a cat's lifetime, at least. It looks good, too. The removable pad is covered with a wool-like texture, so we wrapped it in a towel to avoid any temptation to shred and/or ingest it. Unfortunately, Azazel completely ignored the thing for months, in spite of us introducing it numerous times... until seemingly out of nowhere, it became her favorite place to relax.Azazel is a petite 9.5 lb Russian Blue—a rescue, thank you—and the Window Pod is a perfect fit. With her paws and tail tucked in, she fits completely inside (she usually sleeps with her head or feet hanging from either end). While cats tend to seek out small enclosed spaces, this product may be too small for many. The suction cups are super powerful, allowing our little demon to jump on top and attack the blinds, but our 22 lb Maine Coon mix would very likely tear it from the window. Thankfully he's usually uninterested in heights, and too clumsy to get anywhere when he tries. If your cat fits, and if you're willing to take a gamble on whether they'll take a liking to it within the Prime return window, I can't recommend it enough.

Great quality, but not ideal for grown cats.
Product is great quality, sturdy, and very nice, however my cats seem to hate it. They have gotten in it a couple times but freak out when they think they are stuck, and have to back out of it. They cant turn around at all. I wish I had gotten the half shell and maybe they would actually enjoy it.

CATS CANT GET OUT/TURN AROUND
***UPDATE*** after reading another review I cut out a large hole and now they both LOVE it. They were in it all day on and off. Doesn't look the great but now they are using it so oh wellGREAT idea, very sturdy and good material, BUT ITS WAY TOO SMALL FOR ANY CAT!!! I have two cats, one is 5 pounds and the other is 11 lbs, NEITHER ONE can turn around in it or get out without extreme difficulty. This makes them not use it at all. I shoved one of them in butt first lol, and he actually enjoyed it for a few minutes but neither have touched it Since. This either need to have a MUCH deeper bowl or holes on both sides so they can actually use it. Unrealistic for use the way it's currently made, very disappointed as the actual quality is great!

Exactly what I was expecting, cat loves it
I am really happy with this product. More importantly, my cat seems to love it. It took her a day or two to warm up to the pod, but now she is spending hours in it everyday. The pod has a hard but flexible shell that the cloth is wrapped around. The cloth on the outside is handsome enough and the stitching around it seems to be high quality. The inside is lined with a different, softer material. There is also a cushion that sits on the bottom of the pod. The four suction cups are large and do a great job of holding the pod up. I have had it up for a few weeks and it hasn't moved or come unstuck. There is plenty of room for my ten pound cat. She has an easy time getting in and out and can even manage to turn around inside of it. The afternoon sun can make the pod a little warm, but that doesn't seem to bother her too much.Just a reminder, be sure and check the measurements of the pod against the measurements of your window. Also, be aware that if the panes are on the inside of your window (making the surface uneven in places) this might effect the placement. I didn't have any problems, but these are a few things you should be aware of before you buy.

Put it in my window hoping my cats would like it it secured very well butmy cats wouldn't even go near it . Then after looking at the rieview I realized it's supposed to come with a bed and mine didn't so I tried putting a blanket in there but my cats still won't go in it wanted to love it but will be returning it and buying a screw in fleece perch instead from the same company hopefully it will come with everything ..

And it is super cool. But even my kitten has a hard ...
I was so excited for this! And it is super cool. But even my kitten has a hard time being able to turn around. He uses the window to kick his back feet up to be able to flip around. It's not deep enough. And my big cats will not be able to fit at all. Very good idea and it sticks to the window! Very secure. Just not big enough even for a 8 month old sphynx kitten. Wish I would have found this when he was a tiny tiny kitten he probably would have loved it. I may return it and get the green one that has the open top.

It could use improvement
Had to cut a hole in the other side for my kit-kat but now she loves it, besides that its a wonderful product and hasn't fallen once even when I didn't fasten one of the suction cups all of the way

Simba may not get the concept, but he loves it!
With 4 cats, I thought this was a good place for our smallest and oldest cat to hide, but she never took to it, nor the other cats. My sister through maybe it was too cold out and they didn’t like the cold window. The other day, I lured our orange cat Simba in it with some cat nip. He ate it and left:(. Just today I caught him sleeping in the pod! He’s been in and out all day! But maybe because he’s our only indoor cat, he just doesn’t get that he’s suppose to look OUT of the window! He seems to love it either way! It has a string hold to the window and is very well made!
