Rectorseal 685121-Pound Odorgon Powder

Works as described. Bought a couple and used them on a slow fuel oil leak until I could it serviced.Has a scent to mask the fuel oil smell and changes in texture / color when it absorbed the fuel oil. It let me get an idea of how much was leaking each day.

I have used the Odorgon for both gas and oil spills on my garage floor. Just sprinkle it on to cover the spill, wait a couple of hours and it will absorb the spill and sweep or vacuum it up and its like it never happened! So far it has not left any noticeable floor stain, and has a very pleasant fruity smell when you disturb the powder during cleanup. It was definitely a good buy for me and I also purchased one for my neighbor after he told me his sons motorcycle fell over and leaked both gas and oil on his garage floor! I will definitely buy again if I run out.

Had a oil drip at my filter due to a flare wearing out that put a decent amount of oil on the concrete. This smell got into everything and would not go away! I did the kitty litter and a few other tricks but nothing seemed to eliminate this permiating odor the oil left behind. I decided to try this powder and boy am I glad I did! After 2 days of being on the concrete the smell was gone and the powder was turning a brown color because it was pulling the oil out of the concrete. I would recommend this to anyone who has a oil spill that they want to treat to eliminate odors afterwards.

Works extremely well, spilled fuel oil in our basement and couldn't get rid of the smell until someone told me about this product.

We bought 4 of these. Maybe we just had to much of a oil leak... but still smell fuel after using 2...

This worked remarkably well for a day - immediately after application, the odors from a ruptured abandoned tank that had some residual oil are greatly reduced. However as the dirt floor still had too much oil left in it, it was overwhelmed and by the next day, the fumes were very strong again. It is probably a great product for very small drips and leaks while servicing equipment, but not the right product for a more substantial leak/spill.

I had a rough heating oil problem on old, old concrete and some stones packed into the area around my sump pump. This product was recommended by an oil supply company and a waste removal company. Too a few attempts and vigilant cleaning but there is no scent at all now.I cannot believe how well it worked. Get the powder for large spaces or easy-to-reach spaces, but the spray is great for tough surfaces and for spot treating really tough areas.
