Q: Will this 35mm be closer to a 50mm on my Sony a6300 crop sensor?

Yes. On the A6000, A6300 and related cameras, it will have the same field of view as a 52.5mm lens on a 35mm camera. It's a good manual focus "normal" lens on these cameras.

Q: Just for clarity: Is this an actually 35mm for a Sony A6000 or was it made for full frame (therefore it would be more like 50mm)?

Focal Length isn't the same as magnification, and has nothing to do with crop factor. If you buy a 35mm full frame lens, and put it on an APS-c camera, your focal length will be 35mm, with a crop factor of 1.5. If you put a 35mm APS-c lens on an APS-c camera, you focal length will be 35mm, with a crop factor of 1.5. Exactly the same whether the LENSE is for full frame or not. The 1.5 x "zoom" comes from the sensor size. If you're shooting birds, this can be a real boon, shorter lenses get you closer to the subject matter. You should expect this "zoom"/cropped effect across ALL lenses, not just those made for full frame. Q: This lens work for nex5N?

Yes, same lens mount as my Nex-6, so it should be fine...although remember it's a manual lens so you'll be more involved with focusing and exposure....I love it - for the money it's a great lens!

Its mininum focus distance is 0.3m. Which allows You keep a distance of 0.3m/0.98 feet in the shortest form the subjects.
