Upvoted for asking the right question. :) Honestly, these companies are absolutely shameless in their deceptive naming practices. This particular product would seem to be a weak dilution of Vanilla CO2 extract in coconut oil. "100% pure essential oil" my foot!

Sorry but the other answer is wrong. Not all essential oils are safe on skin or to consume. To use this like a perfume, mix with a little bit of another oil like coconut, jojoba or even olive oil. You can even make a solid perfume! Go on Pinterest to find lots of recipes. Hope this helps.

Yes, it is pure vanilla essential oil so it can be used as a lip balm flavor and scent. I use it in my body butter as a scent, smells really nice. Hope this helps.
