This speaker looks so good! Sturdy and stylish. The sound is good, not as good as our bose but perfect for me to listen to my tunes. Really smart speaker, great for the price. Will buy another for my daughter

Looks great, easy to use and well made. Easy to connect to Bluetooth. Mono sound is good but I would recommend getting two for stereo

I listen to a lot of sounds on my iPhone, both catch-up radio programmes and audiobooks. By connecting my phone to the Roberts by Bluetooth, I get a better listening experience. Some Roberts products have too much base but the balance with this one seems just about right. A sonorous, rich tone superior to the iPhone, which can be a bit tinny, and of course you can turn the volume higher. The Roberts can be moved from room to room easily. Battery life seems OK. Glad I bought it, but it was rather pricey. COMMENTS ADDED LATER There are lots of settings which make this a very adaptable device. E.g. you can alter the balance between treble and base to whatever suits your listening. You can set it to switch off automatically so you can listen to music programmes and audiobooks as you fall asleep. Lots of other options. I did not realise this at first (but would have done so if I'd read the leaflet, which I didn't bother with -- entirely my fault.) An excellent bit of kit, one of my best purchases.

I choose the red version and I must say it looks really nice. It’s very well made indeed. As for the sound , well it’s a little disappointing. The bass response is good considering the size but the separation is not. I thought it would be louder. The EQ settings were very disappointing but the Bluetooth range is very good.I’ve had this for a couple days and I can’t really comment much on the battery life. I’ve used it a lot and I’m still on the first charge. Value for money? A little overpriced for what it is but it does look good 😊

Love the cheerful yellow colour, let’s be clear, I’m not a speaker geek, I just wanted something that looked nice to play music and Audible books on when I’m working in the kitchen. Lots of others on the market looked like they should be in a teenager’s bedroom but this suited me just fine. Would have liked it in red, but wasn’t going to pay the extra to Roberts direct for a red, higher spec one. This one had a good reduction in the sale too. The sound is almost muffled after listening to a cheap £10 Lidl speaker for several years which was tinny, but the sound quality is definitely superior and more rounded in tones. Chuffed!

I bought this specifically to pair with my Roberts radio, how disappointed was I to discover it wouldn’t pair. Only intense research on the web did I discover my radio needs a transmitter at extra cost because the radio is basically a receiver nothing more. For £60 i expected better.It’s going back and I will do without.On another note that during testing I found the sound to be poor quality, so it would probably have gone back anyway. It has no clarity at all.The other reviewers are spot on.

Really good sound. Very portable around home and to take in trips. I love the sound it makes when you turn it off. So easy to use. I’ve had mine for around 3 yrs and still going strong. A good investment!
