Apron SS
The stain color turn out to be exactly what I was looking for to use on the new driveway apron The stain color is a charcoal gray and took to the concrete very nicely. I allowed 6 weeks from the time I redid the driveway apron until I began the staining process. To maximize the stain coverage and to make sure the stain penetrated the new concrete I applied the stain with a brush. The stain is a water base stain and mixed easily with distilled water. I mixed 4 oz. of stain to 16 oz. of distilled water for the color I was looking for.

Great for the DIYer
Color is perfect and it went on great. It does drive quickly and I believe over time it’s going to protect my counter from food and drink stain. Priced very well and great for the DIYer

Very easy to apply with a sprayer, looks great!
I used this on our concrete patio that was about 2 1/2 years old. It was starting to look a bit grungy, so I etched it, using a power washer and etching acid. That really cleaned it and removed the weather stains. Wanting to get a mottled look, I selected 2 colors, Tobacco Leaf and Charcoal. The Tobacco leaf color on the chart didn't really look like the stain that I applied on the patio, it turned out to be a bit more of a vibrant green. Anyway, using pump sprayer to apply it was simple. It took a lot longer to mask off the surrounding areas, (house, adjacent stone and pavers on all but one side of the patio), than it did to spray the stain on the patio. The patio is about 335 square feet, and diluting the bottle about 50/50 used all the Tobacco leaf to cover it adequately. After letting that dry for about an hour, I mixed the charcoal 50/50 and sprayed it over the Tobacco Leaf, leaving some of the green show through. There is about a bottle full of mixed stain left, so the charcoal didn't soak in quite the same as the first coat, which is ok. After leaving it for 36 hours, I then applied 2 coats of concrete sealer A bit disappointing is that between the time the stain and sealer was applied, some minor scratches appeared. This may have been due to the grandkids playing on it for a few hours, but really I would not have thought a 5 year old and a 1 1/2 year old would be able to scratch a durable stain that should have soaked into the concrete at least a small amount. This leads me to believe that the sealer is a strong MUST APPLY for any amount of durability, and I should expect to reapply that as needed. It has been on for several weeks, and we have gotten complements on the appearance. As happy as we are with how easy it is to apply, and the look it has given our patio, time will tell how happy we will be with the durability of the product.

Product is great, but be aware of the color Charcoal as its not a dark grey.
So this product is great and so easy to use. Just find your color or mix two colors together and then add 4 parts water to one part color with distilled water in the empty gallon jug, then shake well. It goes on no different than painting a surface with very watery paint. Either use a small nap soft paint roller to make nice smooth applications and a foam brush for your edges and corners, or use a pump sprayer if you've had good practice using that application.Unfortunately, I thought the color Charcoal was pre mixed black and white because I wanted a grey patio and I wanted to coat over the different ages of concrete, old, new and repair jobs. My goal was to make everything uniform and look newer and all solid grey. In reality, Charcoal is a mix of black, white, and blue. I mixed the Charcoal with white to lighten it up so I could use several coats without it getting so dark. Unfortunately, I didn't realize Charcoal has a blue base, so when I was done, the color ended up drying grey with a decent amount of blue. It looked exactly like the color of Honda's Sonic Gray Pearl, which if you look up, is a grey blue.I now ordered black so I can mix with white to get the grey I originally wanted. I'm just not sure if I'm going to be able to change the color after two coats of the charcoal turning it blue. So in short, the product is great, but be careful with the colors, or get the 8oz first and mix with 4 parts water and paint some strips of cardboard, paper, brick, etc, so you can see how the color dries. You may need to mix other colors or swap our colors until you get what you want. Also make sure you get 16 oz paint measuring cups so you can measure exactly how much of your color of combination of colors and then so you can add that up and multiple by 4 so you know how much distilled water to use.Good luck applying, but be prepared to use 3 coats to ensure you have smooth, even coverage without any uneven base shades from showing through. The second and third coats will go on significantly faster and use a lot less product, but you still want to put it on semi-thick so any areas that don't absorb as well end up with a uniform color.

Great stuff, if they send the correct color ordered
I actually really like this concrete stain... When they deliver the correct color. My first order, "Winter White,"came through perfect. Great results. I went to order the same thing again, I received "Charcoal" inside of a Winter White box. Requested replacement. A few days later I got in another box, marked Winter White, but again, it had a bottle of Charcoal color inside. Waiting weeks for refund now.
