Q: Why does the sound constantly goes in and out like I’ll play tape but soon as the song comes on it cuts out?

I have had no problem playing my old cassettes. Sound does not go on and off. Are you sure it is not a problem with the tape itself? Try the cassette on another device. If there is no problem then you have a defective player.

The JENSEN MCR-75. Expect the batteries last about 20 Hrs with the radio at maximum volume, and 8 Hrs. with a tape.

No Aux Jack. Has a headphone Jack.

Q: Can it record the stereo fm sound to the cassette tape?

Yes and No! This model will record FM to cassette, but not in stereo. It’s a mono cassette player/recorder.
