Life Extension MacuGuard Ocular Support with Saffron, 60 softgels (Pack of 2)

This Macu Guard is a good value on Amazon. This product has improved my vision slightly and cleared up some of the black floaters that I see. It takes a while to improve your eyes and this product will help. Life Extension products are quality and slightly cheaper on Amazon than on their site.

I have been taking this product for about one year and am 78 years old. Not that my vision was bad; I am nearsighted with astigmatism, but I can read one line further down on the eye chart and have 20/15 vision in one eye with corrective lenses and excellent night vision. My optometrist says I have the beginning of a cataract in the other eye, but with 20/20 vision in it I do not notice any problem. I am a school bus driver taking frequent night sports trips.

Life is a good product and my eye doctor approves of them.

I was suffering from inflammation of my eyelids when I went to sleep and when I awoke in the morning once a weeK I would get up in the morning with severe pain in one eye, whenever I blinked . The paim was so severe, I had to resort to drops with steroids and went to ophthalmologists locally and University of Miami..But the diagnosis eluded the ophthalmologists. The steroid drops I was given helped speed up the healing. What they called it was "corneal erosions" I was getting in AM when I awoke..The conjunctiva heals quite rapidly and the severe pain subsided in a matter of hours and by evening, I had no further pain. But I was afraid to go to sleep because of these cornesal erosions that occured in AM when I awoke.About 1 year ago when I added "MACGUARD" to my supplements, I noticed that my AM erosion totally disappeared,!! It was simply amazing.,,I noticed that I awoke with ,o further eye inflammation or corneal erosions which I had for years. I asked my ophthalmolost why this occured but he had no answers. So I went over all the supplements I was taking and noted that the only new supplement I was taking was "macguard" So I attributed my "healing" of morning corneal erosions to daily supplementation of macguard.

I was seeing 'flashes of light" out of the corners of my eyes. I read a book about how to deal with that. It gave a big list of herbs/vitamins, etc to take, most of which I found in one pill called Vita Cost Eyebright Vision Complex, but then I discovered this product as well. I take both of them every day. It took maybe about a week or two, and no more flashes of light out of the corners of my eye. I actually believe that both of these products working together did the trick. I was also having some "smudge" issues, as in sometimes when I would look through my eyes it was as if somebody had put a big "fingerprint" on my eye that needed to be "cleaned off." There is another product that cleared this up IMMEDIATELY, I kid you not! It is called Life Vitality Vision Clarity Eye drops. Be warned, this stuff BURNS your eyes, maybe some people are not as sensitive to it as I am, but I am willing to put up with the temporary burning to have that "smudge" go away. I only use the drops if I notice the "smudge" coming back, but for the most part, the flashes of light AND the smudges practically never occur any more since taking these products.
