Made scarf for Daughter and her cat Elwis
Just started knitting this year. Started on Socks, since my daughter said she would be surprised if I ever actually knitted them. I talked about it a lot. Challenge accepted. I knew that if there was one thing I did with all my might this year, it would be learn to knit socks. So I did, and made a pair for each of my adult children. I'm glad to report I got better each time.Having received my first attempt at socks, my daughter asked for a scarf for work and it occurred to me as I was knitting it that Elwis would want one too. She loved it and so did Elwis. So did I.The yarn is as soft as I hoped it would be, not rough or scratchy. It has, as you can see a good strong color that was pretty to work with and gave a pretty outcome. I don't know much about prices for 100% Alpaca but it was spendy for me! Still, it was worth it. I would buy it again!

Very soft yarn, easy to work with and amazing drape
My daughter crocheted a scarf with this yarn and absolutely loved the experience and the finished product. The yarn was very easy to work with and did not split at all, and the final product is extremely soft and drapes almost like silk. The only issue is that my daughter is hypersensitive to wool, so she finds the scarf slightly itchy around her neck, but on her arms, the yarn is just fine. I do not have this issue of an itchy neck while wearing the scarf, so for most people, I think itchiness is a non-issue. In all, it's a beautiful yarn in a great color and is very pleasurable to work with.

10 stars. Will buy again
Absolutely well worth twice the price. Soft, enjoyable to work. Wonderful quality. In six balls not one knot, nicely even and securely spun yarn that had nice give in working but never thinned too much. Used in a baby blanket with size four needles. (Daughter lives in Florida so I was looking for a looser knit to lighten the blanket). Size one to three is recommended but I was pleased with quality. As with all fuzzy ( I use the term loosely here... since shed was minimum ) piercing the yarn can slow down knitting speed. I found the integrity of the yarn minimized the piercing problem. Great drape. Photo of corner or blanket that has not been washed or blocked yet

Very soft alpaca but a bit fuzzy.
I bought this yarn for knitting. This yarn is fabulously soft and the color is consistent and clean. It may be part of the yarn being so soft, but the it is not spun very tightly, and sometimes my needle goes between strands. Also, the yarn pills a bit more than wool does, giving the scarf I am knitting a fuzzy look. But if you are ok with this, this is great quality yarn for the price. Also nice that the yarn is already in balls rather than skeins, saving the trouble of winding the yarn.

I love this yarn!
I took up knitting again before the pandemic because one of my granddaughters wanted to learn, and it has kept me sane ever since. This yarn is absolutely luxurious and perfect for knitting garments for children as it isn't even remotely scratchy. It's light but very warm, and the colors are beautiful. It always arrives within a day or two at the most which is very handy if you're running out near the end of a project.

Very soft easy to work with yarn
I purchased this yarn to knit a cabled vest and I am very satisfied with the result! Overall, it was very easy to work with and the resulting vest is extremely soft. The color is also very nice and I have received many compliments on it. I will definitely be purchasing this yarn again.

Beautiful yarn
This AndeanSun baby alpaca yarn has been a pleasure to work with! It has a nice soft touch with a little stretch. It is a true DK weight, has a nice twist, and good stitch definition. I used it to make a cowl as a gift and it turned out beautiful. While I have found baby alpaca on sale for less, the price of 28.99 for three skeins is not bad, especially since it is quality yarn.

Wrong color labeled over the real color!
I ordered the Pistachio green but received the Green Heather. A second label was placed over the Green Heather label. Thus trying to pass the wrong color off as the Pistachio Green. I am sure this is wonderful yarn, but it's not the color I wanted. A sad waste of shipping expense!
