I really don’t know if they work on posts. I got them specifically for French wire earrings for, which they work well. It may be possible, but you would have to try them on the post for length and diameter. Really don’t know.

These are easy to use, no matter what style earring you have. If you have a fishook style, you'd put this back on first, and then use the fishook closure.
