Q: Has anyone tested the filter to see if it actually removes chlorine, fluoride, etc?

I have tested the water after purchasing this shower filter and the chlorine and all the chemicals are still there.

Q: What is the little white plastic ring? Is that supposed to be the tape? It feels like plastic I do not see anything

I thought the same thing! I took a knife to try and start the thread (which felt like plastic) and the plastic ring popped off. The thread is underneath the white plastic. I’m glad I wasn’t the only one!

Q: Is this NSF61 certified?

I believe that certification is 'safe for drinking water'. More than likely no, as this is for the shower. But am not positive that is what that certification is for. Hope this helps!
