After extensive research I chose this for its great design and choice of functionality. I didn't want an ugly white industrial cooler and on arrival this didn't disappoint, lovely black/gold to complement my decor. A little slow to arrive. Super light. Easy to move with a great handle but drags a bit on carpet. It is effective even on quiet and low settings which I use when I want it to operate silently and quietly. The noise on medium and high sounds like an air con unit - not too obtrusive. The swing function is impressive as it swings from left to right and closes when switched off to keep out the dust. This is as effective as an air conditioning unit, only a lot quieter, cheaper and environmentally kinder.

Works fine, though doing the ice packs and refrigerated water with the humidifier on I don't really notice any difference. That being said the fan itself seems cooler and fresher than a regular one. I'd check the measurements if you want to buy this for a small space, it's pretty big. Having a remote is great.

I purchased this the 7 May and now the cooler part just beeps after so long, and will not come on. No email address on site that is easy to see. I have been researching and it seems that there is a problem with the water sensor. It may just be that I got a bad one, I will keep searching for a contact email address

Save your money and time this is nothing but a fancy fan built for looks. If you think this is going to help you during a UK heatwave keep dreaming, it’ll barely keep you cool let alone a room.I bought the ice wind plus directly from Klarstein which was a waste of time because it took over 1 week to be delivered from Germany. Obviously if it was Amazon it would’ve been a much quicker service.Soon as I took it out the box I had extra ice packs ready which I had bought on Amazon and froze overnight, I topped up the tank with water added the ice packs but the breeze I felt was slightly cooler than a normal fan, there’s no big difference between this air cooler vs a normal fan.I noticed anytime I filled up the water tank it would start to leak, I’m not sure if it was a fault issue but I closed the latch at the bottom of the tank to keep it secure so I don’t know why it was leaking.Anyways I gave it two days of use to see if I would like it but absolutely no I packed it back in it’s packaging and sent it back to Germany.If you want to keep your living room, bedroom or flat cool get an actual air conditioner portable unit it was the best decision I’ve made and should have been the first thing I done.And btw if you were crazy enough to buy this, don’t get it directly from klarstein as returns are a nightmare and the customer support is useless, I had to pay for my own return shipping which I wasn’t refunded for because their return labels don’t provide a courier pick up so you would need to travel to the post office with a 9kg box.

Unfortunately I cannot leave any rating cause the device doesn't turn on at all. Waited almost 2 weeks and so sad I need to return it. That's a shame.
