50 Zoysia Grass Plugs & Auger | Beginner's Pack

Very, very pleased. I was surprised at how perfect these were. Deep green, well rooted. Very easy to plant with the auger. They are the real deal zoysia, look exactly like what is in the yard (see photo). We are filling in two large bare spots (septic tank) that were neglected by the previous owners and turned into weed beds. Getting ready to order a box of 100 for the other areas given how well this one turned out.

Plugs arrived in good condition but seller forgot to include the auger.I tested the plugs side by side with new Zoysia sod. They have been well watered and received two turf care applications.Two months later, most of the plugs are still alive and slightly bigger. However, they haven't developed a good root system and are easily dislodged. The sod is a much deeper green. Next season, I will be using sod only.

Plugs came looking good..green and healthy. The auger makes planting them so easy, just the right size to compliment each other. The size of the plugs are just right. Got them in the fall..planted them.. they turned brown..now its just waiting for next year to see what they do. Came All in all im pleased.I did take one star off because of the long wait to get them.. that does need to be worked on.. I would have ordered a second one by now but it would take too long to get here.UPDATE: Ok it is now April and all I have to show for my money are brown spots of dead grass all over my yard. Went to contact seller about this and found there is no way to contact them..therefore- bad feedback. Its a shame because they looked so good when I first got them.

I am impressed as to shipping quality and ease on install

The plugs were so tiny upon arrival, have never seen any this size. many had brownish grass, very limted grass in plasitc trays. Went ahead and planted based upon recommendation form company. They said they would turn green in cou0le weeks. Followed all directions/instructions. They got worse. Returned to seller via Amazon, they kept a $22 restocking fee. This should be disclosed to customers up front. Called Amazon, they said seller said items returned were not in original box and not a total of 50 count shipped? Hello? Threw original box away as most humans do unless an applicance but certainly not something grass was shipped in. As tiny as the grass plugs were, we dug up EVERY one that was shipped to us and returned. No reason to keep dead grass. I can imagine as grass splits and tears from pod when BAD and then planted, may be some grass pieices missing. Just an excuse to keep $22 restock fee.Amazon still waiting on resolution. It's not the $22 it's the principle. I can afford $22 but think about others who are paying this and can't. It's just wrong when you've sent a defective and not as described on the website product to innocent customers.. Amazon should not carry this product and YOU fellow customer should NOT order it. A RIPOFF in my opinion.

Easy to plant

My wife and I followed all of the directions and they still turned brown. I guess I'll just wait until next spring to leave a full review.
