Great modern transformer
I bought this to replace an old Enhance Holding Corp model EH-9030A (output 6365 Vrms, 30ma). It was easy to remove the old and reconnect the new leads. It powers on and the sign looks just as it did before. This power supply is about half the size of the old one, so mounting it was an issue. Keep in mind this type of transformer may be smaller than the older ones and you will need to mount it differently. I ended up using one of the old mounting screws on one side and zip-tying the other side to the sign frame. Also keep in mind the power cable is relatively short at 6' vs my old one at 9'. I haven't had it for long, but so far it works great.

Seems to be of high quality and UL listing seems to be genuine
This power supply seems to be made to high quality standards so I'm assuming that the UL listing is authentic. It has a metal and plastic housing with a pull-chain on/off switch and a grounded plug. It worked perfectly for my neon application which was a small neon tube about 24" in total tube length. The high voltage output leads are heavily insulated in what appears to be silicone to reduce the chances of arcing. I had no arcing problems when I tried it. Furthermore, and this was really impressive, it came with a pull spec sheet in large text and diagrams that also covered safety specs and details to avoid problems with mounting and wire routing. Excellent.

Perfect Repair
Bought two of these when one of the neon signs in my garage burned out. I took it down, saw it used two power supplies and decided to repair it myself. Was easy to do, just had to be gentle around the neon tubes. I replaced both of the power supplies, wired them to the wires at the end of the neon tubes, just used the old ones as an example and in no time, the sign was back to normal. Very happy.

Replaced eh 9030a transformer
My 20 year old Bud sign died a month ago so I went online looking for a replacement transformer with no luck. Rolled the dice on this one and I have to say I am very happy. Light lit up on the first pull.It won't match up to the old mounts so you will have to Mickey mouse it with zip ties. Use the old mount for the ground and zip tie the rest of the unit. You tube is helpful for removing the old transformer. Just be very careful like you are defusing a bomb.

Neon beer light replacement
Good quality, comes with power cord and on/off switch. Excellent replacement for neon beer lights. Requires some skill to properly splice and insulate high voltage 6 KV secondary power cables.
