There are a number of cheaper knock offs of this product. We all want to save money. I am sure the ones I have tried on and off over the years have identical fluid and abstractly can clearn your razor properly. However, it seems only the original ones shown here from Braun are packaged in a way that the old fluid can be sealed when you remove it and replace it, so you can dispose of it properly. The gluid involved is deeply poisonous to humans and critters, and is best desposable like any hazardous waste.Another tip if you use these Braun electric razors, do change the blade assembly every couple months. They can be ordered. If the saving gets more difficult, the usual problem is the blade needs to be replace. They are available at a reasonable price. Once you make the change you will be surprised how immediate the improvement is,Thanks.
