Quite possibly the the greatest elk package out there, waiting to try the EDS which I purchased. Then I will detemine which is number one and two.

Sharp out of the package. Well constructed. Taking on mule deer hunt shortly hope to get to use it.

Nice heavy build as expected from Gerber. Orange makes it easy to spot.

I bought this as a gift for my husband and he used it to help gut and clean his elk this year. He said the grip and feel of it is fantastic. His only negative comment was the weight but he backpacks and hunts in the mountains of Montana so is always looking for light but durable items.

This knife fits easily in the hand and is extremely easy to open one handed

Very light and durable, good edge geometry on the blade, right or left hand use

Much larger then expected.

It is an ok knife for skinning deer. Doesn’t hold an edge like my old Kbar lock back folding knife that I’ve had for over 50 years. But none of the newer knives are as good as the old ones.
