These fasteners don’t seam to work right…
I could possibly be doing something wrong but these fastners just don’t seam to work correctly.First issue is I can’t get the dzus fastener to sit flush on a piece of 18g sheet metal with a dzus fastener dimple in it. You can see this in my first picture right hand size. It’s all bent because it won’t sit flat in the dimple, and the is a specific dzus dimple die.Second issue is the springs are way to tall. I do have a dzus spring adjustment tool, but you have to bend the heck out of the spring to get it to work. Even then is crazy tight.Third issue is the space between the dzus fastener and the plate that holds the spring is real big. If I slide a piece of 18g sheet metal between the fastener and the spring plate there is still a substantial gap. So these will only work in sheet thicker then 1/6 aka 18g?

Look good, work bad
Individually the parts are all of good quality. All parts are steel except for the dzus button fastener itself which is aluminum. Rivets are not included and would have been a nice touch for the price (I opted for some 1/8" stainless pop rivets to hold the parts together). The wire that gets riveted on the bracket is too tall to engage the fastener even with no material in between and requires significant bending to get remotely close, and will not engage if you are attaching anything thicker than ~18 gauge sheet metal. The rivet locations on the weld bracket for the wire and on the dzus fastener bracket are spaced exactly the same and require some clocking of the brackets to make sure they clear each other. Lastly, which is more of the fault of the design of a dzus fastener itself; its difficult to line up the fastener and the wire without being able to see it engage from the back side, usually taking multiple attempts and a lot of downward pressure.

Does not come with rivets
I recommend you look around for a product that comes with rivets . It's not a good value for sixty dollars and no rivets.

Well made
First time I have attempted installation of Dzus fasteners. They are not easily installed and I'm a car guy. However once in place they really fill a nitch for install and removal of panels.
