Speidel Watchband Replacement Tool for Watch Pin Removal and Band Replacement - Works with Leather and Metal Straps

This is a great little tool that makes removing a watch band super easy. Prior, I was using the dental floss method, which I found on a YouTube online video, which does work well, but this tool is a little more sophisticated.

This worked perfectly to remove a watch band and install a new one (20mm). Be sure to turn your watch upside down when removing the pins to prevent any inadvertent scratches. That being said, the tool is quite good and I didn't scratch my watch at all when changing out the band. Great little tool and you can't beat the price.

With this tool I was able to change my watchband myself. Previously I'd tried a very small screwdriver, and while I could get the old watchband off, I couldn't get the new one on. I really needed the fork end.It was my first time using this tool so it took me a couple tries, but in the end I had it done in less than 2 minutes.There is a video easily findable on Youtube ("How to replace a Speidel watchband") that demonstrates how to use it; you may find it helpful to watch that before the first use.Also I highly recommend using a standing magnifying glass (or clip on) if you have one. Those watch band pins are SMALL!Finally, the packaging made it very easy to remove/replace the tool and I appreciate that convenience.

Just not as well as it once did. The watch band I purchased was of decent but unremarkable quality. I just started using this watchband, so I don't know how long it will last, but they are definitely not a sturdy as they once were.

Very inexpensive and very study. I used it as soon as I got it and put on a watch strap for the first time ever. I was influenced by all the positive comments and I will add that the price belies the quality and usefulness of the tool. It is just what I wanted. It comes in a case so I can store it safely.

I couldn't take off Twist o flex band with it which is a Spider product.
