This thing was a huge frustration and I was clear about that. They responded and offered to "trade" my yuk one for a new one. Their communication was courteous, respectful and PROMPT! They reached out after my complaint - within a day. And from there, communication was consistently excellent. I am so appreciative of my new printer! I have not gotten to try it out yet - I will this weekend and will add pictures. This printer works really well! It takes a little time to print a photo and it lays down the colors in layers and then it laminates the photo afterwards. But after this process the photo looks just like any picture that you would get from any photo printer. It's worth it for what we need it for. My mom likes to print photos to send to her best friend who lives far away. This is perfect for that. She doesn't have to use a computer, she just uses her phone, the app connects automatically to her phone through our network and she can print things right from the gallery on her phone. The app is pretty easy to use. So I recommend this printer. It's really good for the money that you spend on it, it's a small compact size, and it's easy for my older mother to manage on her own.

Love the print quality and App. App gives options to edit pictures as well as add stickers, text and even make collages. Extremely easy to use and allows any phone with bluetooth to easily pair. Perfect for scrapbooking.

Update: After over an hour of struggling with this machine, I finally decided to try one piece of paper at a time, and surprise, it worked! It's a little annoying to have to do this, but the pictures came out perfectly. I've changed my rating from one star to 4 stars.Positives:1. Easy to use. Instructions aren't great, but it's very easy to figure out without good instructions. Once you connect with bluetooth, it tells you what to do.2. With the new firmware update (mine was two years old), I don't have to plug in my iPhone to the device (I did two years ago). It works great with bluetooth.3. The pictures are a decent quality. Not perfect, like you get from a professional, but good enough.4. It's very inexpensive, but not cheaply made.5. It's very small. It comes apart for storage and takes up very little space.Con:Only one - and a problem I didn't have when it was new, now I can only load one sheet of paper at a time. When it was new I could load 40 sheets, as directed in the instructions. For some reason, that doesn't work anymore. But it's a minor problem. Overall, still a great little printer.Original Review (1 star)I bought this printer two years ago, April 28, 2022. I printed 10 pictures with it, then didn't use it again until today, February 14, 2025.After updating the software, opening a brand new package of Kodak paper 4 x 6 inch and placing it properly in the tray, and inserting a brand new, unopened Kodak Photo Printer Cartridge, also 4 x 6 inch, it won't print. I get "Photo Paper Unrecognition" response. The paper is properly placed in the tray, with shiny side facing up and Kodak logo on bottom. I've readjusted it several time. Both the paper and cartridge were in sealed packages, brand new. I ordered extra when I purchased this printer two years ago. I'm extremely disappointed in this product.

Printer is easy to assemble and use. I was able to set up the printer more by intuition. The paper tray snaps into place but I can't seem to unsnap it to disassemble without fear of breaking the plastic. I wish there was a button to disconnect the tray. Instruction manual print is so tiny you need a magnifying glass to read the instructions. If you connect the phone physically to the printer the phone needs to be propped up so it doesn't bend the connector. So I just kept the cell phone separate and connected to the printer using bluetooth. I downloaded the Kodak printer app and began making 4x6 printer hardcopies. I will say I was very pleased with the printer photo quality. Each photo requires several passes of the printer to generate one hardcopy at a time. It's a decent handy 4x6 photo printer to generate photos from my cell phone.
