Stainless Steel Double Ended Micro Lab Spatula Sampler Hayman Style (5.5 in. (14cm), Knobbed End)

I do science experiments with my children whenever I can so I use a gram scale purchased from Amazon and this scoop, which is flat on one end, and an oval spoon-type scoop on the other end -very small. I could’ve gone for some of the kits sold on Amazon that have like 6 to 20 different kinds of scoops but I felt that wasn’t necessary for my needs. It’s a sturdy and very accurate spoon/scoop. For example, one experiment we do that is fascinating is to put a very very small amount of elemental sodium (pure) on the surface of a container of water and watch the little white ball of sodium spin all over the place like it’s highly allergic to the water which in the chemical sense is true.

Works for just what needed it for.

Small enough to fit into tiny craft jars. The jars have very narrow openings and I needed something I can use to scoop into or out of these narrow jar openings. This fits into them with room to spare, perfect for my needs. As you can see in the pictures, it's smaller than an pencil eraser top to give you a reference for size.

The length is 6.5", the spoon end is 15mm, the spatula end is about 55mm. Quite sturdy and not easily bendable, so it appears good.

I like Crystal Light and club soda. Getting the right amount of Crystal Light was very uneven. With this title tool I slip it into the package baboon. 3 times and it’s just right. And it stores in the container!

A big thanks to someone who said this works well to fill 00size capsules. When I first received it, I thought this looked way to tiny. It is very small in my hand but the scoop is right size to fill 00size capsules. Any bigger scoop, I would probably spill a lot. I think the handle could be thicker or cushioned or something- it's bit uncomfy. But it does the job and I don't make many pills at a time so it's good enough. It does take about4 scoop to fill one 00size pill so it's tedious job but I'm OK with it. If you need to make lot of pills, I suggest getting pill making tray things, filling it using this scoop is not for everybody.

Perfect to small quantity adjustments when weighing powders and fine grain substances. I bent the scoop end slightly to help with my particular setup. Highly recommend.

I really love the one end with the scoop but the other end doesn't appear to be as advertised to me. In reality it is a long flat end for scraping bit on the picture it looks like a longer different shaped scoop. Idk I think I was sent the wrong one. The end that appears to be correct performs beautifully though.
