Straight forward to use, same as a lot of others. Like any other temporal thermometer I’ve used, it gives a range of temps even if you take a temp a few times within a few minutes.

Beware: inaccurate only 2 months after purchase!
This thermometer caused me to miss my son's fever for two whole days. The thermometer read 97.9 whenever pointed at any ones forehead. I trusted its reading over another, older thermometer. There's no way to fix or calibrate this thermometer either. It reads "lo" when pointed at ice water and "high" when pointed at boiling water. Terrible, dangerous product!
