Q: Do you have to remove the slide holder each time to insert the next slide? Or can you push the scanned slide through with the next slide?

Once you insert the slide holder you can leave it in and push the scanned slide through with the next slide. A slide feeder attachment is also available through Hammacher Schlemmer, a catalog company. Hammacher Schlemmer also sells a slide scanner that is identical to the ClearClick with the exception of the name. With shipping and tax it costs a little over $36.00.

Q: Can you use a 64 GB card ?

Yes. I'm using 64GB and 128GB. I don't know what the upper limit is, but it's not 32GB. Also, I'm finding that class 4 and class 6 cards work, so the "class 10 or better" requirement is bogus too. You get better preformance with higher class cards, but that all. What does matter is how the cards are formatted. Any new card will probably work, but if you're repurposing a card that's been formatted by another device, make sure the partition scheme used is MBR (Master Boot Record) not the newer GUID partition scheme, and the format is FAT32 for 32GB or smaller cards and ExFAT for cards greater than 32GB.

Q: What type of cable will i need to connect to my computer so i don’t have to use an sd card?

An SD card is required. The scanner does not support direct to computer scanning. It will only transfer images after you've scanned to the SD card. Hope this helps!

Don't insert or remove the cardd while the unit is turned on. It may damage the unit and/or the card. If you're having trouble using a card, try using a different card, if you have one, or mount the card on your computer and run your disk diagnostics on it. It needs be formatted for MSDOS (FAT32—or ExFAT if it's > 32GB) using the MBR partition scheme.
