Works well with Delonghi Dedica
Works very well with Delonghi Dedica Arte.No leakage and a solid fit when placing into machine.Portafilter handle comes off for cleaning without affecting the real wood handle, seems well put together.Freshly roasted beans are a must to take full advantage of this open portafilter to get a good crema and flavour.

Destroyed 2 seal gaskets on my SMEG BUT
Looks good and of good quality. But I tried to make esspresso on our SMEG coffee machine and used grinder at esspresso setting. I also tampered it with around 15kg and used mash on top of it. It creates to much pressure and by now I destroyed two gaskets already. I think SMEG or me are not compatible with this item. Also when I got a good result (meaning it didn't sprinkle everywhere) it still didn't make a foam as good as in Smeg pressurized portafiler. Basket that comes with is for double esspresso. Or by smeg standards almost three.I don't dare using it anymore with SMEG, hence will try to return it.Update (10 Dec 2023) from 3 to 5 stars:Coffee tastes much better. I read more about it and SMEG IS giving too much pressure at 15 bars. For esspresso ideal is 9 bars. So I discovered a hack. When I press coffee button on SMEG it starts with pre- press and what I do is turn the button immediately after this and then repeat until I get perfect amount of water trough. Compared to pressurized smeg original basked it tastes much deeper.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ Great for Espresso Enthusiasts
I recently picked up the NEOUZA Espresso Bottomless Portafilter to level up my home espresso game, and it’s been a fun and useful addition to my setup. Here’s what I think after using it for a couple of weeks:Pros:Improves Extraction: The bottomless design really helps you see the extraction process and adjust it to get that perfect shot. I’ve noticed a better, more consistent flow of espresso compared to using a regular portafilter.Better Control: It gives me more control over the tamping and distribution process. I can see the shot as it pours, making it easier to spot any issues like channeling and adjust accordingly.Sturdy Build: The portafilter feels solid and well-made, with a nice, heavy feel that gives it a premium touch. It doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy at all.Easy to Clean: Cleaning is straightforward, and since there’s no spout, there’s less mess to deal with, which is a huge plus.Cons:Requires More Attention: While it’s great for improving your espresso skills, it’s a bit messier than a traditional portafilter. Since the shot is exposed, there’s more chance of splattering if you’re not careful with your grind or tamp. Not Ideal for Beginners: It’s definitely not for beginners, as it requires more finesse and technique to get the perfect shot. If you’re just starting with espresso, it might be a bit intimidating. Can Be Tricky with Certain Grinds: If your grind isn’t just right, you might experience some uneven flow or splattering, so you have to pay extra attention to your grind size and consistency.Overall: The NEOUZA Espresso Bottomless Portafilter is an excellent tool for those who want to improve their espresso-making skills and get a closer look at the extraction process. It’s well-built and effective, though it requires a bit more attention and precision than a standard portafilter. If you’re into espresso and want to take your brewing to the next level, I highly recommend it!

Do not buy this for swan retro machine!
I got this for my swan retro machine as I had seen various other reviews saying it fits. These people must have been deluded because yes it fits but it doesn’t go in all the way. You are left with coffee spilling round the outside as the pressure tries to escape. I am a barista so I know what I’m talking about please don’t get this for your swan! Mine broke in half because I had to hold it in place due to the pressure coming out the sides because it doesn’t fit. It’s a beautiful handle but not made for swan machine.

fits 51 mm basket with coffee maker
fits very tightly to 51mm basket the handle screws off but overall it looks sturdy and works as a replacement I had bought a special 51mm basket which goes with this filtering the coffee through a smaller opening which seems to work very well producing sweeter coffee

Unfortunately not perfect
This product looks great and feels very high quality but please spend a little more or look a little further. There is a fundamental flaw which sadly makes this unusable if not supervised. Now three times the portafilter has undone itself from my Dedica Arte machine - resulting in a dangerous and hot mess.

Very good.
It is a huge improvement from the cheap pressurised portafilter that came with my espresso machine.Massively improves the workflow, taste and over all experience, very happy.Fits perfectly.Nice look and feel in the hand.Great value for money.

Looks nice, doesn’t function well.
Purchased this as it was fit for my coffee machine, it does function but not well enough, I have only tried it a couple of times but the pressure of the coffee machine creates a lot of spilling onto the handle and then spits around the surface which requires cleaning up after it’s finished which isn’t great. I’m normally someone which can makes things work and find a solution. On this occasion I can’t. Only way potentially is to keep the tray plate on and the mug doesn’t have any gap to leak out. Good luck.
