The Shark is perfect! Great suction and Easy!
I exhaust researching when I want to buy a product, and with this one, I found exactly what I wanted! I vacilated over the very popular and now common cleaners that have a rotary brush, that advertise vacuuming and mopping together. In years past, I had a cordless little vaccuum for vacuuming up quick messes, but would never want to put liquid in it. These new units advertise it all, even self-cleaning of the brush in a stand after use. I have not tried any of those. I almost bought one of those, but thougth they were very big and pretty expensive. and wanted something convenient - not combersome. I wanted something that was easy to quickly go over my floor after cooking, or a spill of some sort. I needed to buy a mop for my new luxury vinyl floor as well, and those bigger units say they do it all. But, I wouldn't need these big units because I don't have young children and animals that would make very messy messes. I really hesitated with this Shark worrying it was just too small, too light weight to be of a big value. I am SO HAPPY I decided to go ahead and try it!! The suction is unbelievably strong! Don't know how it can do it! Moves over the floor so easily and does a great job! Then the mopping feature is perfect as well! I has it's separate lever to widely spray out the liquid with the vacuum off, then going over the wet area, the disposable pad on the bottom has just the right texture to really scrub over the floor. I personally don't like the pre-mixed cleaning solution that comes with the Swiffers - seems sticky to me. This Shark unit has solution you can use and buy to pour into the small containing area on the unit, but I pour just plain water in it, so that I feel free to wet my floor how ever I want, without feeling there has to be some rinsing of it. Or a special way of applying it. I can add cleaner whenever I want, and don't have to continually buy a bottle of cleaner that attaches, when I want to do some mopping or wet clean-up. This Shark unit has never run out of battery for me. I hang it on a hook in my pantry, and plug it in occasionally if I have used it a lot. The pad on the bottom! - I end up loving it!!! Again, Shark is genious to make it to hold the dry litter from the floor in it, and you have the choice of leaving it until full, or it also opens up and you can dispose of it, emptying it and replacing without buying a new one yet. Then it is a throw-away when you decide it has been used too much. It even has a small scratcher strip along it, if you need to scrub a little on the floor. I also purchased 2 reusable cloth pads made for it,that fit perfectly that I can launder if I don't want to keep buying the disposable ones. This is EASY, does a great job, has big suction, mops the floor, is cordless, ergonomic, light weight. But mostly does a great great job. I may buy one of the machines with a spinning brush on it for when I want to really scrub the floor in the grooves of the floor- like Spring or Fall extra cleaning. But I am definitly keeping my floor very clean on a daily basis, so it always looks so clean! Thank you Shark!! I love your products! It is perfect!! High Quality!!!

Highly Recommend!
I highly recommend this product to anyone that has hard floor in a good portion of their home! I'll start with the cons because it's just me nitpicking things that might be deal breakers for other people. If you get through the cons and it's not a hard pass for you, just buy it, you won't be disappointed.Cons:- There really is no logical solution to making a reusable pad. For the crafty people out there who think they've found a work around: Even if you knit or crochet a pad, you'd have to fit it over an existing one for the vacuum feature and then you'd lose suction since the thickness of the material would lift it further from the ground. You could sew a thinner cover, but your vacuum storage will still get full at the same rate. The plastic vacuum piece is very complex and would be a pain to model and 3d print (at least 20+ hours for modeling and then another 40-80hours of printing and trial and error). Therefore, you're better off just sucking up the dollars to buy refills.- Loose pieces in the vacuum portion will fall out if you're an aggressive mopper. I would suggest emptying out the loose piece after vacuuming to avoid this AND help your pads last longer.- Once your pad is wet it's a lot harder to maneuver. The pad catches on the floor a lot easier and it makes the rest of the vacmop want to flip-flop all over the place. Both hands required for that feature. Gotta put the baby down or risk a cramp in your forearm. Disclaimer: I am not jacked in any sense. This might still be a breeze for a regular human, or a good arm day workout for anyone that's into that.- For about 3 seconds after you let go of the handle, the motor makes a high pitch whine. Drove my dog crazy for a solid month before he got used to it. Honestly, it took me a few days to figure out what was bugging him and I doubt I'd have noticed it otherwise.- It doesn't work on carpet or shag rugs… kind of a no brainer here. Not sure why but, I had high hopes that I could throw my old vacuum in the basement to save on space after getting this one, but, alas, bedroom carpet will still be the bane of my existence. To be honest, this vacmop will still work for loose items close to the surface, but you'll still have to keep a regular carpet vacuum in stock.Pros:- The refills are relatively inexpensive (less than a dollar per pad at the time of writing this).- The suction is awesome. This thing picks up everything from M&ms to dog hair.- Cordless! First time cordless vacuumer here and it has changed my life. I can clean any section of my floor without having to map out the clearest path and closest outlet. I don't have to plug and unplug the vacuum 4 times before I'm done. I don't have to break my nails on human proof outlet covers or my foot when I forget to put them back on (why do they even make clear ones?!). I'm not tripping on or getting tangled in the cord constantly and I don't have to wrap it all back up when I'm done. You couldn't pay me enough to go back to a cord after this.- It keeps a charge. I can vacuum and mop around 1,000sq ft without charging (about 15 minutes). The only time its died on me was right out of the box when I was testing it. Even then, it held the same amount of suction until it died (unlike some products that hold full power for all of 2 minutes and then slowly peter out)- The vacuum stores dirt efficiently so you can go longer with a pad than expected. Example: I sucked up half a crushed hamburger bun and it was shoved so tightly in the back corner I had to use a kabob stick to get it out (not necessary, just trying to give my pads longer life 👍) I go through 2-3 pads a month with daily spot cleaning and weekly routine cleaning.- Hassle free. Other than mopping being a bit of a workout (as mentioned in cons), I can do everything one-handed with ease and without bending over - including attaching and removing pads and cleaners. The charger is attached magnetically and can come off with ease just by brushing it with your foot. I do bend over to plug it back in, but it'd be easy enough to add something to hang the charger from when not in use that would allow you to do both without bending over if needed.- It's small and lightweight. Easy to store and easy to take up and down stairs

Worth it
I love this thing. Got it as a gift before I loved into an apartment with a small hardwood area for a kitchen and it was a lifesaver because I didn’t have to hand clean the tiny area and could instead use this. Then I moved into a larger house that has all wood floors and tile in the kitchen. The original one I had broke (my son dropped it) so I sprung for a new one. A year later I got one for my mom and they updated the machine so that it has a light for it. Super awesome. My mom didn’t like it because it’s too loud, so now I have a spare. Worth the money not to have to hand clean or mop. Less mess and way convenient to have the vacuum along with the pad you can wet
