Where has this been all of my life?
What a great idea! This works great on a standard T-Post and you can even lock it if you want. Of course if someone wants to steal your camera and T-Post nothing would stop them, but it is a deterrent. I have had my SD card stolen from my camera before and I think this just provides a little extra incentive to keep people from messing with your camera. It is also a great design that works so much better than wrapping the strap around the T-Post or using zip ties. Very well done guys, I am very pleased with my purchase!

Works incredibly well...too expensive
Bottom line is this product works incredibly well. You can put cameras exactly where you want them and don't have to "settle" on using an existing tree or fence post to put it on. 5 stars in that regard. But how about that price? $27 for something like this seems at least $10-12 too high. An actual T-post costs $7 for 7 feet of solid metal. Many of my actual game cameras cost only $10 more than these mounts, so when thinking about potential theft I am almost as worried about someone taking these mounts as I am them stealing the actual camera. I guess it's a minor gripe, but nearly $30 for a tiny piece of metal and a thumb screw seems a bit excessive.Good job on the design, though.

No external battery cable hole
This mount does not have a hole at the base for an external battery charging cable to go through. It only has a slot for the bolt to tighten. Needs a hole for battery cable next to the slot.

It is what it is, and a little overpriced
Back in the day there was a company out of Texas that made T-Post camera mounts. They used a large plate made our of decently think steel. It attached to the T-Post using U-Bolts, and had a metal strap that went through the camera back strap holes. I still have some of these and they are still the best mount ever designed. Unfortunately I am going to have to copy them to have Awesome T-Post mounts again. This mount is a little flimsy and the way it attaches to the T-Post allows cattle to pop them off if they decide to rub against it. If you have a camera with bottom access it's a pain to work on them because you have to take the whole mount apart. It works better than some others, worse than some other, and definitely not in the same ballpark of the old plate style. I don't recommend this mount unless it's all you can get.Sad that as time goes on things get cheaper and usually worse for it.
