Q: T6i sensor :small dot on sensor, doesn't affect photography but feel I could keep it spotless clean .. Is it worth a try and will this swap help?

If the "dot" is not affecting your photographs, I wouldn't mess with it. But are you really sure there isn't a blob on your images from the "dot"? Anytime you attempt to clean your sensor, you open up a can of worms! I find that I never get everything using just one swab. It takes several swabs. A few using the cleaning fluid, then one or two to get rid of the streaks. And usually the last one leaves lint from the swab on the sensor. But that was with the more expensive swabs. I've only used this brand of swab twice now, and I didn't have to blow off any lint at the end of the cleaning. These seem to work better for me than the more expensive swabs. But again if your "dot" is not causing an issue, I wouldn't open that can of worms. I wouldn't mess with cleaning the sensor unless I absolutely had to. But if you have to this brand of swab has worked the best for me.

Q: Do I need to purchase any cleaning alcohols to use the cleaning swabs?

These swab sensors are dry ones. The cleaning solution is not included. However AAwipes will offer camera sensor cleaning kits soon. Please keep tuned.
