Flames of War Battlefront FWBX09BFM Hit The Beach Starter Set, Multicoloured, 17 x 2.25 x 12 inches

Plenty of quality miniature figures, & AFV's. A great starter for any budding wargamer.The tile is a bit of a miss as there is no beach, should be called Paras hit Normandy.

Great value with lots of nice miniatures which can be used with different rule sets in addition to Flames of War ( I bought this to use primarily with the Chain of Command and Bolt Action WWII rules)

Bought for my 10 year old who really likes it. The models are easy to build (5-10 mins per item). It’s a good starter set for an amateur model builder. Just be aware that the set doesn’t include glue or paint. Haven’t played the game yet so can’t comment on that.

This is an excellent starter set with a good selection of models - very good value for money!

Absolutely love the product, but in future could you avoid using a mail service that’s striking to deliver it as I ended up getting it 11 day late

Parts were ok when opened however the box was unusable. I normally use the boxes to separate armies but this one i cant.Should be noted the outer amazon box was fine.

So first off, why 4 stars?Well, that's because the sprues are pretty loose inside the box, it's easy for them to get knocked about, and as a result, small parts can get damaged, this happened to my set, as some of the infantry gun barrels got slightly bent where they caught other sprues by beaning loose inside the box.Now that's out the way, the game itself is a fantastic 1/100th or 15mm scale wargame, simple to learn at it's basic with it's two complete basic forces for USA & Germans, but with further miniature expansions, gives plenty of long term play value, and needless to say, it's well designed rule system and army building methods give this game it's lasting value and staying power, the system is almost 20 years old now IIRC!Well worth picking up if you into Late War World War Two gaming.
