One of my better purchases regarding tools
It has been almost 9 months since I purchased this unit, and I could not be happier. I am a DIY'er and I previously put down about 2500 sq ft of travertine pavers outside for our patio using a borrowed cheap water saw from HF, it did the job but it was small, would not cut the larger pieces of travertine, the slide didn't really slide well and because of the slide it was not accurate. My wife decided she wanted the rest of the backyard areas in more travertine (about 2000 sq ft more). The larger side yard I was to put travertine pavers around the garden boxes, and finish off the garbage can area. The smaller side yard I was to put pavers down and insert a lawn/dog run so we can just let the dog outside to do its business and not have to take her for a walk in the middle of the night. I agreed to do it as long as I could get a better tile saw, after much research and debate I bought the Dewalt D36000S with stand and my back has been mostly happy since (travertine is still heavy so...). Hardest part of this saw was the directions, my suggestion go online and watch video(s) of how they put it together and figure it out on your own (then confirm with directions that you got it right), the directions are terrible (almost took a star off, they are that bad). The slide glides very easily which makes the cuts very accurate, the blade cuts 1" thick travertine pavers with ease, very accurate smooth cuts. I love the stand as it is a back-saver, I very much like the plastic protectors they keep the area which I am working clean and gunk free, the water basin has an easy to remove plug so draining the water is again easy and fairly clean to use. Compared to what I was using this is like driving a Mercedes versus a Yugo, absolutely no regrets and worth every penny.

Big tile requires a big saw
I've used many tile saws in my career and I have to say this is the most advanced, well engineered saw that I have ever used. Smooth cuts after I changed the blade that was included for a porcelain blade. The pump delivers a lot of water to where you need it and not all over the operator. It cut square right out of the box. I highly recommend it.

Amazing upgrade from the original !
I have been tiling for almost 30 years. As I got better I needed a better and bigger saw as bigger tiles got popular so I bought the first generation Dewalt tile saw and was impressed. 15 years later it still runs like a top after 100's of tile jobs, so it was hard to pull the trigger on another expensive tool but man oh man, I'm so glad I did! My old one always had a little problem sliding smoothly which I got used to but none of my apprentices could compensate and would often crack tiles. This saw is so smooth and no hiccups in certain spots and can easily cut 24" to even 36" tiles without me having to cut half way the flipping the tile to finish the cut which was time consuming and hard to be as accurate. A long cut used to take a couple minutes. Now I can make a 36" cut in about 30-40 seconds with more accuracy and much less effort. If you are like me and only do tiling 40-50% percent of the projects I do, don't think twice like I did and buy this and save time and have fun having a new tool that is so much better than you are probably using now and will pay for itself in the time you save.Cons, It is heavy and takes longer to set upPros, I was able to set it up and use in my garage and it did a fantastic job keeping the water in the saw and not on the floor.I am not being paid or getting any benefit from this review.

Price, functionality, ease of use, and cleanup. Plenty of power
Price was reasonable compared to others in this range. Was easy to assemble and just finished a whole house of porcelain and 2 kitchens of ceramic. The cuts were always right where they should have been and no warble. The unit is easy to move around and the size is not excessive. The surrounding area was always cleaner with the shields and panels that are part of the setup. 24 and 36 inch tiles were always parallel cut and did not have a second cut needed

Best saw on the market
We have 3 and there quality is the best on the market only draw back is it's heavy but I can deal with that.

Highly Recommend
Heavy saw, requires 2 folks to set up/move comfortably, but such a game changer for my tile work. I can’t vouch for the blade it came with because I installed a nicer one straight out of the box (I’ve never been very impressed with Dewalt tile blades). Very easy to use, cut cleanly and square right away! And more importantly, has the capacity to rip/cut large format tiles.

Great quality…poor portability
Functions really well with great horsepower. Breaks down into too many parts for portability between job sites. Stations that collapse onto a rolling stand are far better.
