Q: When used to deodorize clothing in laundry, how much do you use for each load and do you pour in wash cycle or rinse cycle ? Thanks.

In wash cycle add 1/2 cup. Is usually all that is needed. If clothes are clean but still smell like body oil then add 1/2 cup of sodium tetra borate (borax) . Don - retired chemist

Q: Does it work for urine stains on carpet?

Not sure about that. I would say pre-treat with a carpet stain remover first. The odor control definitely removes odors though. So glad I found it!

People are leaving reviews for a variety of this brands products-an all purpose cleaner, a carpet shampoo, odor remover...I have no idea why Amazon has this setup option at all, in my opinion it sucks, but the reviewers are commenting on their purchases and don’t mean to confuse anyone. Read the info between the reviewers names and their reviews, sometimes it will show what product they bought.

Yes. I have 115 year old dark pine wood floors. Plus an 8 month old male kitten marking his territory. Nasty urine smell. Beyond nasty. ZEP pulls the smell right out of the old wood. & yes, he's scheduled 4 neutering.
