Q: How are these accurately measured? is 7x6 with or without hardware attached? what is real covered area of shade?

It was accurate enough. We used carabiners to attach the shades to the hooks, so it adjusts. They were pieced, and not in a good way. I do want to say this, the fact that they are not water permeable is a real problem. We have to take them down when it rains, when it mists dirt/dust in the air mixes with the moisture leaving them with streaky, dirty stains. What a pain and a waste of $. We’ll be replacing them soon.
