Q: How much fixative does this make in ounces after adding alcohol?

The answer of 6 is incorrect. It makes 16 ounces according to the bottle, and technically should make closer to 18, but 16 allows for some inevitable waste in the process. You mix it 1:8. The instructions say to mix 0.5 oz concentrate with 2 oz alcohol - I did 4ml concentrate to 32ml to get 36ml of spray - which, btw, is going to last me for a long time. Like any fixative, a little goes a long way.

Q: Can this be mixed with isopropyl alcohol instead of grain alcohol (ethyl alcohol)?

I mixed mine with alcohol that you buy at Walmart, I thin isopropyl, and it works for me. But next time I will purchase the already mixed SpectraFix.

Q: Would this be good to use on metallic and chalk seed beads? Sprayed on to the finished loom work .

No i dont think so Spextra fix seals your artwork temporarily to enable you to re-work the piece.But to make 100% sure i suggest you visit their website
