The media could not be loaded. I'm a fan of the ocarina's mellow tone. I was worried my fingers would be too small to cover the toneholes, but it was not an issue. Love the ergonomic design, although I find it quite heavy for a plastic ocarina. The walls of the ocarina are thick, which I believe contributes to the sound and durability. However, if you live in a cold or humid area, be warned that condensation builds up pretty quickly. I do think this is because the thick plastic of the windway keeps it cool, paired with the windway's length, allowing condensation to build up fast.That said, I've found that soaking it in dish soap and water then rinsing it off and letting dry, seems to stave the condensation a bit. Give it a shot if you struggle with that.The higher notes, especially past high D, need much more air than the rest of the range or they will sound airy. That also makes it prone to squeaking if you go too hard, as the breath pressure required by the rest of the range is comfortably low otherwise. I knocked off a star for that, but as you can hear in the sound samples, it isn't too much an issue depending on the songs you're playing.

Tone is good and it is wonderfully in tune very pleased great value. I bought another type tuning was way off. This Focalink Osawa 12 Holes Alto C ABS Resin (Sturdy & Durable) Ocarina is great on first impression. will update if needed.

Less effort than the Knight and not as loud, joy to play

I love this Ocarina! I originally got one for my friend but I really liked the way sounded so I got one myself. It sounds better than my other plasics ocarinas. I definitely recommend it if your starting or if you want a durable plastic one to carry around.

This is truly a quality instrument. Easy to play from the start. My first Ocarina and I'm very much enjoying the beauty of this simple instrument. It is perfectly tuned and has an amazing quality of sound. You will not be disappointed.

This was exactly as described and was exactly what I wanted. It's sturdy and durable, but note that unlike other ocarinas, it is NOT made of ceramic. Yes, a ceramic one would be nicer, but it would also cost more and I couldn't just toss it in my bag. I just needed an affordable beginner ocarina that was in tune and plays well, and this ocarina fit the bill! I had a cheap zelda ocarina but the sound is awful, it doesn't play well, and it's completely out of tune! If you want a decent ocarina, pay the extra money for a nice (in-tune) ceramic one, but if you want a decent but cheaper ocarina for now, definitely get this one.

I love my Focalink ocarina. The tone is bright and sharp, the notes are easy and tuned well. I don’t have trouble sounding any of the notes, high or low. I’ve also had the Night by Noble alto c and liked this one much better.
