Shin Tube - Medium

We use the DermaSaver to protect the skin on my wife's lower legs as she makes transfer from her wheelchair to our car which requires dragging her lower legs across the door sill. These devices are fabricated from approximately 1/4" foam cover on both sides with a synthetic material, thought to be polyester. They are tapered from top to bottom which makes them easy to slide on over socks and because the are slightly loose, they ride on the top of her shoes, not squeezing her legs. The only downside is that in the Summer, the foam construction makes them tend to be hot on the legs. I thought that the medium size that we got would be too large for my wife's legs but it turns out that the size is just right, providing a loose fit. She is 5'3" of medium build, meaning medium leg size.

I wear at night. Very comfortable. Gives me a little peace knowing I have some protection on legs due to very thin skin and varicose veins. Pleased!!

They run large. I ordered a medium and they fall off of me. I had to put a compression sleeve over them just to be able to wear them and hold them in place. I also thought they would be thicker than what they are.

Highly recommend! These things have saved me many many times from wounds! I gave them a four because of the way they size them. They should be selling them by length and circumference of leg. According to sizing, I should buy a large, but it absolutely swims on my leg. I buy a medium to keep it in place, but it’s not long enough. I still highly recommend them. However, they are cheaper when you buy them directly from derma saver. Amazon charges way too much and you are definitely not getting free shipping with their prices.

I thought I was ordering a pair of shin guards and I had to reorder when it came as I piece . These are used to prevent cuts , scratches when the dog jumps up onto the bed on sensitive thin skin shins they work perfectly for this issue

My mom was always injuring her legs. She was always being treated at the wound care center. This product protected her legs from more bumps and bruises.

They fit perfect on my mother’s calves. They really protect her legs.
