Blue Yeti USB Microphone - Blackout Edition (Renewed)

Amazing Mic, the quality is amazing but it is bigger compared to other ones. Its built well and can be used for many different task including streaming,podcasting, work meetings and much more.

I replaced a Blue Snowball with this Yeti and the improvement in quality of my recorded audio is dramatic. I use it for Discord sessions with friends, to record commentary for old 8mm home movies from the 50s and 60s and, occasionally, for a podcast episode.If you're looking for a Mic that records with good quality and you're on a budget this is a good pick.

The packaging was horrid. The box was beaten up, I know this is normally not the sellers fault but it is important for this case. I open the box to see very little protection for the product, just some brown paper and a small bit of plastic surrounding the product. There were several points on the mic where scratches, not that big of a deal. The base where you would attach a boom arm is damaged. The top of the mic itself is loose, easily moveable with little force. Several of the nobs look like someone took a knife to them. The audio is TERRABLE. I have had earbud mics work better and sound clearer than this. It sounds like there is a blender in the mic. It is robotic, blown out, and just horrible for any sense of using it. I have heard nothing but good things about Blue Yeti, I honestly think it was the horrible packaging and a possible bad referb.

It looks good, it sounds good, its awesome piece of tech. Reliable.I can write a whole paragraph about how good it is. But having old and unreliable micro-usb to usb 2 cable is simply absurd. Like imagine… this mic with USB C… Embodied perfection in piece of tech.But there is not. It has a micro usb. And it is awful. It disconnects on USB 2 side.I recommend it to everyone. And harsh reality of company’s planning is on the opposite side of user experience nowadays. I love it and I hate it. It’s perfect. And it is not…They will be making new models every year instead of adding usb C on this one.

I personally just started doing ASMR, and this was the perfect stereo designed mic for it. Even renewed it looked new. I am very happy with the purchase and the cost was so budget friendly I feel like I got the best price for it.

Ordered this for my teenage grandson as it's just what he wanted. Arrived quickly and in perfect shape.
