3m Portable Air conditioner Exhaust duct hose extension kit, Increase the length of your existing flexible hose

I thought it would be a little longer but other then that it does work and does what I need it to do. Hook was easy the hose went right on, my only suggestion is probably getting some stronger tape. Overall a decent product and gets the job done.

I received the item in a few days. It is easy to install and the right price for the item. It does the job and it's light weight is great. I don't know what the other people are complaining about, this works just fine.

I love my portable air conditioner but the duct hose that came with it wasn't long enough for to me position it where it needed to be for maximum benefit. This little addition is nice and flexible, easy to install (the handy duct tape they include in the package was just the ticket) and now, I can cool my entire upstairs instead of a small corner of it. Hopefully it will hold up long term. I don't know why they ship such short, stiff hoses with the original air conditioners. This flexible hose is so much better.

I bought this product assuming I would get the3m duct hose shown in the picture, but got a completelydifferent style. They are not bad quality, but will notwork for what I needed them for. The company offered totake them back, but said I would have to pay shipment. I'mnot paying for shipment back to the UK, and would suggestchanging the picture to match the product as the descriptionfor both are similar.

Worked great with the Portable Air Conditioner we purchased with it. There was plenty of extra house to exhaust the A/C out the ceiling. The Reducer works great and is attractive and clean looking. The other connector sleeve is just as nice.

Not only is this product poorly made, it is actually dangerous!On both sides of the extension tube are very sharp metal wires, upon which I cut myself and bled fairly badly.Subsequently I noticed a small piece of of paper labeled "supplementary" which states: "It may occur that the PVC Sleeve does not completely cover the cut end of the metal wire reinforcement within the extension duct hose supplied." and "You should check the ends of the PVC extension hose contained in this kit to ensure there is not metal wire exposed."It seems to me that ii there are sufficient occurrences of sharp metal to warrant a supplement addressing the issue, there is something wrong with the product or manufacturing process.So how do they recommend resolving the problem? They suggest that the sharp points be covered with duct tape. Really!As for the extension itself, both sides (particularly the side attached to the existing tube) are so poorly sized that they are completely dependent upon (more) duct tape to ensure a seal. One side was just a bit too small, the other was hugely oversized. I found that the quantity of tape included with the extension was not sufficient, especially when I had to use quite a lot to cover the sharp metal on both ends of the extensions..

Instructions not very clear

The tube did the job but is very thin plastic around a metal coil so needs insulation around it or the room being cooled heats up as the warm air passes through it.This isn’t mentioned in other reviews.

Item works and does the job but def not worth the money, cheap feeling and rips easily if you aren't careful
