Clear Polycarbonate U-Channel with Magnet and Chrome Metal Strike Plate for 3/8" Glass Shower Doors

This thing is great. My shower door had an issue staying closed. It just wouldn't stay in place. I bought this and that is no longer a problem.

This is great and easy to install on my glass shower door, keeps it shut tight and no water leaks. Only downside is the glue that holds the magnet was already dried up and so magnet kept slipping out.

I ordered this product to hold the door closed as it likes to swing open slightly, unfortunately the door can't be adjusted so a clip or magnet solution is the only way I can go. The product did fit on the glass but the description leaves out the gap distance between the panels and unfortunately the door jams. Just a hair too narrow. Tried to get a refund but the seller uses USPS rather than a return center. I cannot print a label so I took the $1 hit to have it sent, it's been nearly two weeks still not received the label. Contacted the seller and the blame game began. I do not recommend ordering anything from this seller unless you are 100% sure the part is going to work as you likely won't be able to return. At this point I'm giving up getting my money back and will throw the part in a box for donations to the local restore.

TL;DRMy shower door would not stay closed, this magnetic latch fixed the problem perfectly. It has just the amount of force to keep the door closed, but doesn’t make the it difficult to open the door.Installation:Installation was easy, the clear plastic side just slips onto the door, and fits perfectly. The metal side was slightly too big for my door. But since I already hard to cut some of the plastic door grommet to make room for the latch, I just used a loose piece of that plastic to act as wedge to make the metal piece fit more snug. So now it has a friction fit, and it’s resting on the grommet, and is completely secure.Looks:The latch is in the same style of all my modern glass door ornamentation, so it looks like it was built to fit the door. Looks fantastic.

Had a new shower put in and for some reason my door wouldn't stay closed. I tried everything and it wouldn't work. Purchased these and they worked like a charm on my custom door. Highly recommended.

Thought it was a perfect solution for our full glass shower that has a door that never stays closed. It was fairly easy to install, but it broke apart suddenly after about 2 months of use. Cheap material.

This works well to hold our shower door closed. Looks nice as well.

I bought this to keep my toddler from pushing open the shower door. Now that he's tall enough to reach the handle, I thought this would stop him from being able to pull it open as well. However, the magnet is not strong enough. My glass doors were too thick to use the inner rubber sleeve, but it still fits snuggly and I haven't noticed scratches caused by the product. Overall, I like the product and combined it with another type of shower door lock. Using both has been great at keeping my toddler from playing with the shower door.
