Q: where are these bags made?

Where almost everything is made, China of course. 8') I did go and read the tag to make sure, but I already knew the answer before looking.

Q: Are the handles long enough to lift the bag to your shoulder using the hand attached to the shoulder (not by using the other arm)?

The handles are about the same length as the handles you'd see on most paper bags in a grocery store.

Q: Can I iron on images onto this bag? Is it a cotton blend or will it melt?

I purchased a 10 pack. I tried iron on images with new bag. Outcome was awful. I washed a 2nd bag and tried the iron on image again. This time was more hopeful, until I used the bag and noticed that with bending and flexibility of the bag my image was cracking and loosening - finally total erosion of my image. This is an awesome bag but not, in my opinion, for iron on transfers.

Q: Can I iron on a picture?

Yes, I am having my book club name put on mine, but the person doing them said they have to be done on low heat.
