Q: Are these charms firm/strong or do they bend/break with a little applied force?

They seem sturdy enough to me. I think you would have to press pretty hard against them to bend most of them. (The sword, being thinner, would naturally be more delicate.)

Q: Can the some of the jewelry be worn by men???

Sure! I have a male friend that I gave this to for Christmas, and he wears them (One at a time) on a chain around his neck. It doesn't look particularly masculine or feminine, so it's a good fit for anyone!

Q: Does the metal in the pieces contain nickel?

I wish I could be more of help but I do not know if the metal is nickel

Q: Are these boxes still being shipped with the blue tape? I want to buy this as a gift but the damage from the tape looks awful :(
