Otto Link OLMT NY 8 Accordion Accessory (OLM-404-NY-8)

Very strong, bright sound. Personally find that the sound quality is best for live rock or blues tunes.

Unfortunately this mouthpiece did not work for me. The Otto Link 6 is a well made mouthpiece just too small for my needs. I would recommend to anyone looking for a smaller tip opening

Bought this for my son. The mouthpiece takes the instrument to a whole new level. Takes a little bit to get used to. But an amazing piece for the price.

Been playing for about a year and a half. Switched to this from an OL plastic mp (which is also great). I use a 2.5 synthetic reed and my sound is great. The only con is that I don’t like the ligature. The sleeve part is ok, but it has a thumbscrew that tightens this little press, which holds the reed to the table. It’s kind of awkward to adjust the reed position once it’s on, and I can never seem to get that part to sit straight. Probably be switching to a Rovner made for NY style metal MPs.Still, the MP itself is solid and that big opening lets me get all the air I want into the horn. Try it out!

Great tone and projection! Mine is a 5*. I use a Rovner dark leather ligature and Java Green reeds on a Selmer LaVoix horn.

Otto Link is my favorite mouthpiece for the tenor saxophone. I use it on a Cannonball horn and it’s fantastic!

mouth piece speaks easy ,tonation is great, out there... projects ... the draw back is the ligature I just didn't feel /trust it ...ended up buying a ROVNER 3ML NY MODEL MADE ESPECIALLY FOR THE OTTO LINK NY METAL MOUTH PIECE PROBLEM WITH THE LINK LIGATURE WAS TROUBLE KEEPING THE REED STRAIGHT WHILE TIGHTING THE LIGATURE SCREW OTHER WISE THE MOUTH PIECE IS GREAT!!!!

This mouthpiece gives my tenor a beautiful dark sound and I am happy to own it. My main complaint is that the ligature does not keep the reed very secure and the gold plating starting coming off the first day I used it. Need to buy a third party ligature.
