Used to wire a shed. Worked great.

Bought to run mains to a water feature from an outdoor socket and has done a great job so far. The two outer layers are very closely bonded and it’s easy to cut through both when terminating the ends. The wire is single core and very thick, like a mains circuit cable, so it’s fine for a straight connection eg connector block but very fiddly if you’re trying to fit a 13A plug, which was my issue, hence the lower score for installation.

Purchased this to repair a broken irrigation cable

I liked how easy it is to trim the insulating sleeve to expose the cores, but you do have to be careful as the cores are very close to the covering. I did have to order 10mm round cable clips from Amazon as they weren’t available from my local shops, but otherwise I was quite happy. If using outside you should run it through a conduit to protect it from the sun or other hazards. The picture shows the cores in situ, but don’t double over the tails if you want to put two cores into a connector this size.
