Q: Can it be used on the buttocks

Yes, it can be used, most of bed sores are on the buttocks, this cream is made of all natural ingredients, it can be used on everywhere of your body except eyes and mouth.

Q: What are the Ingredients?

I don't actually know, but my experience over about a year's time in a home nursing situation showed it to be very healing, especially when used immediately and consistently on areas which showed the first signs of skin breakdown.

Q: What is the difference between the "paste" and the "ointment"?

The ointment is like Vaseline- real ointment. It feels stiff when in the jar, but when applied, it is light and somewhat feels oily, but does not smear nor run. Apply a very small amount and it spreads evenly over the affected area and cover(preferably with gauze). The paste is the same.
