Q: I am also unable to get the lower basket section to unscrew. Two of us have tried several times. Any suggestions?

I know I keep that lubricated with some WD40 since the saltwater is pretty harsh, and that worked. I hope it works out for you!

Q: How in the world does the basket screw off so pole can be used as a walking stick? I cannot find a way.

You have to unscrew the basket from the lower section. Sometimes it is screwed on very tightly and you have to hold on to the lower section so it doesnt spin with the basket when you try to unscrew it. When you get the basket off, there should already be a carbide tip on the end of the threaded plastic piece. That is the wading end of it. I have used mine many times, but It did take me a couple of minutes to figure out it was spinning the lower portion of the shaft.

How do I contact this seller? I need a replacement basket. I purchased this sand dipper in 2019. I like it so much better than the one I just ordered from a different seller.
