Q: could it be used to fix a denture?

Yes, that’s what I used it for. I had a temporary that broke 6 weeks before my implants were ready. I used the “welding” method where you glue the pieces together and then sprinkle the powder over the seam. It held for the 6 weeks I needed and showed no signs of breaking down.

Q: an old video on youtube on pasco glue states plastics need be "prepared" with a specific fluid before being glued. Is that still the case?

The following materials should be prepared with PSACO PRIME: PTFE (Teflon) PE (Polyethylen) PP (Polypropylen) TPE (termoplastic elastomere) Silicone Unfortunately the primer product is not available in the US currently. The glue works the upper materials in most cases without the primer as well but the bonding is slower and not as strong as normal.

Q: Will this stick two glossy pieces of Formica laminate countertop together?

it will stick ,i used it on two smooth metal surfaces that get wet all day in a sink and it has held together for over a month. great stuff use what you need then put the remaining in a frezzer and it lasts for months.

Q: Will this bond/weld hdpe to hdpe?

My thought and it’s only a thought is I think so. But for the cost it would be a costly test. 3M makes a line of DP adhesive again not cheap. If I had to try one , I would try pascofix. If it didn’t work for that job, you can keep it in the fridge and it will last longer then any other adhesive. Hope this helped.
