Helps keep my trailer cool
I bought this to allow me to get rid of my manual charger for the 12v system on my tool trailer to keep it cool during the Indiana summers and Hot Florida winters. I installed a Maxxair Mini Vent 14" fan to help cool my trailer with a 12V 75AH GEL Battery on a thermostat. It works well but I keep having to charge the battery every few days.I purchased this Solar charging system to eliminate this issue. Here is how I installed it.1. Layout the area you want to install the panel. Manufacture recommends every 10 to 12"2. Clean mount areas with chemical to remove all dirt and wax. I wax the top of my trailer. I used Goof Off to clean it. (Have to re-do mounting lines after goof off removed them).3. I used 1" wide Gorilla double back mounting tape to do entire exterior and 3 more lines under panel. Takes about 18 feet.4. I used shipping cardboard to cover the panel during installation to prevent shock. Carefully remove 2nd sticky layer of double back tape and mount solar panel with double back tape completely being covered by panel.5. I used 4" White Eternabond Roof Leak Repair Tape to seal around edges on Panel. 15 feet will give you a little extra to be able to use it to hold the wires to the top also. FYI, 10 FEET IS NOT ENOUGH TO DO AROUND THE PANEL (Learned the hard way).6. I ran the wires into the trailer using a Link Solar Weatherproof ABS Solar Double Cable Entry Gland for 2mm² to 6mm² wires. Mounted it to the side wall using more 1" gorilla double back tape.7. Mounted the charge controller inside the trailer using just the wires from the solar panel and 12 ga wire to my battery. Did not used the 12v terminals on the charge controller since I already had my trailer wiring set up with fuse panel for lights, Fan and controller, and 2000w inverter.Have this installed for a week now. Pretty hot here. Fan runs about 20 hours a day. Not seen voltage drop below 13 volts yet.Do not try to install in direct sunlight or windy conditions. Gorilla tape and Eternabond tape is very hard to work with and grabs extremely fast (again, learned the hard way...).System is working great!

48watt max output
The media could not be loaded. So far I haven't been able to reach the mythical 100w even in intense direct sunlight, but from what other reviews say, it could be a limitation of the DC to DC converter in the charge controller. My max output was a little over 48 watts (16.2 volts at 3.04 amps). As seen in the video, I did connect an ammeter in series with the positive lead on the solar panel to see how much current was pouring into the charge controller and then into the battery. While I am not impressed with the performance, I am happy to have something vs nothing. Time will tell how durable this kit is.

Nope
Failed after a couple months. The charge control just stopped working for no obvious reason. At least the solar panel still works.

Great Solar Panel!
This was actually the 3rd Solar panel kit we purchased to power my office with station devices for my boat office currently located in Florida. After using it for almost a year, I can tell you that it keeps everything charged during the day and has extra battery storage for charging my personal devices in the evenings. We have even used it to running our freezer during our bigger storms & it kept up without over draining on the battery. The panel doesn’t overload like our other Solar panels. It has even created power during heavy rains. Great value for the money!!

Excellent Product, don't worry about pronouncing the Man. Name !!
Took a shot with this product.Just finished 6 months of remote campingand the panel held up like a champ.Installed it on my converted cargo trailer roof with a corrugated plastic bed, for air and water transferal . GREAT PURCHASE

Bigger and less flexible than expected.
I was expecting something that could be rolled up...this definitely can't be. Large box. Large product. Should have checked measurements.

Did not last long
Only had it on my camper for a couple of years and the solar panel stopped working. The charge controller still works.

Very storable thin panel
I only used it twice. It stores easily under the bed. The wire comes out if you move the controller. Held in with one little screw per wire. I had to tape the wire to the controller not sure if the controller is waterproof. I propped up the panel, and slid the controller under. Then I taped it to the table we moved the table to fallow the sun. I hope the little tiny screws hold up. .
