Definitely a boost over my old cards wifi signal and a better value than some other more expensive cards I’ve put in my kids laptops. My wifi doesn’t allow for anything less than wireless N and I’m cheap. I only use that laptop for basic things and the processor and RAM still keep up. The easy to install rating can be deceiving. Depending on how your laptop is put together affects how easy it is to install but I’m pretty sure anyone with a YouTube video could figure it out

My wife’s Dell e6430s travels with her. It has WiFi but the original card is older and did not recognize available 5g frequencies.I installed this card using a #1 Phillips screwdriver. Six screws including the one securing the card.The card was easily accessible, the gray and black connections are marked. Pull up on the coaxial connections and press them down on the new card. Once installed, Windows 10 recognized it and updated the driver. We are both happy with the added versatility.

Thanks to Microsoft, we find that some components are rendered useless with the rapid twice a year update cycle of Windows 10. My wireless card worked fine with Windows 10 1809. Windows 10 1903 killed the card-incompatible. This Zerone card is an Intel Centrino Advanced N6250 AGN and works well with the latest Windows 10 release. The price of under $13.00 was quite reasonable. Shipping was on Amazon since it was fulfilled by Amazon and took only a few days. I am satisfied with the performance of the card.

No driver with it. Even I didn’t find any online. After installing this, my pc crashed. For the 1st time I thought it was something else. It took me a long time to repair my pc. After that while I installed it second time, the same thing happened again. I am at lost.

My Wi-Fi router from my Internet service provider transmits two channels; a 2.4 GHz and a 5 GHz, where as the “5G” is way faster. I believe I had 802.11g but not 802.11n or ac. This card was a very quick swap out from my old card, and upon rebooting I can now see both channels, and the “5G” is so much quicker. Very happy with this card.

Have an "old" ASUS VivoBook laptop (2013) with a network card that only allowed for 2.4G connection and was having issues staying connected to the WiFi.Installation was easy enough, it's plug and play pretty much. Most difficult part was finding all the screws that needed to be removed.Now I haven't had an issues with my WiFi connection dropping.
