I use a very small laptop is a 10 inch screen. This thing is a game changer. I have been needing a 2nd screen. This thing does not disappoint. The color and sharpness are excellent. It is light weight and not much bigger than my portfolio. My laptop has no trouble powering it without another power source. It does not over heat and provides a clear viewing experience. It was super easy to use with just a plug and play. The speakers I would rate a 6/10. I do not need them but by laptop speakers are more superior. I wanted this model for the case that it comes with and the adjustable angles. I did not want a screen that had a kick stand build in. I am beyond glad I purchased this for my needs and at an amazing price.

I order this screen after my IT instructor informed me that I needed a secondary monitor for class and labs. The monitor delivered quick with all the cords and cables compatible with my Levovo laptop. Very essential purchase and I’m happy with it.

I am impressed they took the time to reach out to me to understand my listed cons.Original Review:I accidently broke my Viewsonic portable monitor while doing some business travel so I went on to the ol' Amazon to find a replacement. Decided to give this no-name a chance based on the reviews and because it could be delivered to me in the morning (I absolutely cannot WFH on a single 15in laptop!). In the end, I decided to not return it because while it didn't meet my expectations, it was not bad overall and offered decent protection for a backpack monitor for my future travels.PROS:1) The most fancy packaging I have come across in some time...very reminiscent of purchasing a MacBook or other high-end gadget. All conceivable cables included, even a charge plug if you do not have powered USB-C available.2) Sturdy built-in (screwed on) protector of some decent material. I think this will prevent any screen damage due to impacts or bending while in my backpack on the plane.3) Plug in and it just works. I've had worse experiences, trust me.CONS:1) I am not a fan of the tripod covers when used as a stand; the base just takes up too much room on my desktop. This is likely not an issue for most people, but was an overall deal-killer for me and my WFH area.2) The color defaults are not very good; it was noticeably different/pinkish from my HP laptop defaults. I tried to mess with the color, HDR, and other settings, but nothing really made it look "right". Not terrible, just not right for me.3) Which leaves me with the WORST con, and that are the controls to the monitor. Read some of the other reviews if you do not believe me, but my gosh, who designed that interface?!? Left is right, right is left, when it isnt back, or just ignored. The colors used to indicate on/off are practically useless....is this setting on, or is it off? WHO KNOWS!

I had one of these for awhile and I dropped a hard drive on it and broke the LCD screen. I then ordered a new one and after a few months it developed a black spot at the bottom of the screen. I reached out to the support email address on the sticker because it is still under a warranty but no one responds. Since support does not respond I would get on from reliable company.5/11/2025 Update:After I posted the bad 2 Star review above, support reach out to me and gave me two options (Full Refund or Replacement). I chose replacement and they shipped me a new one. It took five days from the time they said it shipped to the day it was delivered. Support apologized and said they were behind due to the May Day holiday in China. Other than the issue stated above the monitor works great and I use it frequently. I increased the star rating from 2 to 5.

I've had monitor for 10 months. I've used it maybe a dozen times. It's the perfect size to throw in your backpack for an extended view of your laptop on the go.It connects to my MacBook via HDMI > mini HDMI. I've never managed to get it to power through my MacBook, which the instructions said it should be able to do. That might be a function of my MacBook settings - I never cared enough to try and pinpoint the reason. The resolution is also meh - it's a matte screen and not very bright nor sharp. Also not a deal breaker for my use case but worth mentioning.Today's experience prompted me to come looking for other reviews. I'm in grad school and needed this today as a second monitor for my MacBook at the library. It's always had a fussy connection - the cable has to be *just so* but today it decided it just wants to blink. On. Off. On. Off. Each time it has a slight "zap" sound which prompted me to just unplug it from my MacBook in case there was a surge happening.Other reviews say this happens after a period of time with this monitor.I paid under $100 10m ago - no, that's not a lot of money but I feel like it should last longer than it did. Now I'm searching for another portable monitor that I can receive later this afternoon - definitely not something I had on my radar for today.Bottom line - unless you like short-lived electronics, save your money.

Great portable monitor. Easy set up and serval options for cord connections. Color display is very accurate and makes working remotely more convenient. I like that the screen remains covered when not in use to stay protected unlike some other models I have seen. Overall would recommend

I use this monitor for school because it’s portability, weight, and convenience. I am able to plug in the usb c into my laptop and dual screen, the quality is matched to other higher end laptops. The picture quality is even better than my monitor screen, although u didn’t purchase the touch screen version would have been another convenience being that my laptop has touch screen. Overall, worth the price for the quality and ease of use!
