Q: Im trying to find colors that will have a matte/opaque finish in resin. I got mica powder (pearlescent) and this (translucent) Any recommendations??

If you want a matte finish you can sand your resin with a fine grit paper after it's cured for a few days. For opaque you can use more mica powder or add a bit of white alcohol ink.

Q: I’ve been putting about 2-3 drops in my resin. The color is a nice opaque, but when my resin cures, the color disappears. What am I doing wrong?

It all depends how much resin you have .If you have more then a cup add more color. I think .
