I've been using this specific 1-31 contents tab for more than 14 years. I use these on an ongoing basis.

I have used Avery dividers in the past and have never had an issue. This last time I needed dividers I bought brand X another well-known brand for office supplies. The online Template for labeling the index page was nothing more than an Excel spreadsheet. Avery provides their own designed template that is very easy to use and prints out perfectly. Without having to tweak it.

I have suddenly found myself with lots of paper to organize, and ordered these tabs. These will do the job, especially if you're organizing month-related items (the numbers work for days of the month). However, I find the amount of space to write-in for a particular tab is small.I am switching to Avery Double-Column Dividers, 32-Tab, for two reasons. First, they give you a bit more space for writing on the tab header. Secondly, and ymmv, I prefer the color scheme of that set of tabs.Also, the first page that serves as the directory of the tabs undergoes a lot of stress. It would be nicer if it were thicker and/or more reinforced, or if it came inside a page protector.Note, if you don't need quite as many tabs, but still like the two column formation and color scheme, there is also Avery Two-Column 24 Dividers.And if you need even more tabs, consider Cardinal by TOPS 52-Tab, Numbered, Multi-Color (60990).

I am an ORGANIZER - like to have my papers in lots of notebooks well organized! I keep a supply of these on hand when I need to organize a lot of materials, say in a 4 inch, three ring binder. They come with a handy Table of Contents that allow you to easily note what contents are contained behind each tab divider. Excellent quality product that I have used for years.
