No good. Garbage.will no turn on. Terrible product. Won't buy again. Poor workmanship. Amazon shouldn't be selling products that do not work..

Came in handy, and so much cheaper than a "large" conglomerate...no names, of course!

My controller ports broke on my console of 14 years. Luckily I have the external hard drive.

My first attempt at buying a replacement for my beloved X-box was met with immediate heartbreak as I couldn’t get the disc drive to even open. I contacted Amazon and was offered a replacement. I was upset but I understood that with refurbished items, you sometimes have a dud. The replacement arrived within days and at first seemed much better. It actually opened! Twice. After playing one game for several days, I decided to change games and it wouldn’t open. I eventually managed to get my disc out after several minutes of trying, but I didn’t quite trust it, so I allowed the device to close without a disc. I’m glad I did, because it never opened again. This time when I contacted Amazon I was only offered a refund. I will of course take my money and run. The fact that it was the exact same part that failed twice in a row leads me to believe that their quality control is seriously lacking. I will never purchase another item from this seller.

Red ring of death.They're okay. At least they gave me a full refund and a free return label. Just make sure you open it and check right away so you can return it if it doesn't work.

Mine arrived with a CD tray which stuck and did not function properly.MIGHT have lived with that, but literally the first game we played the console overheated and shut down after about 15 minutes. And again, and again, and we gave up.
